Puppies are some of the world's cutest beings. They are small furry balls of potential. What a mighty task it is for us to take these four-legged wonders and help to mold them into the wonderful family companions they have the potential to become. Shaping a puppy into an adult dog with the behaviors and temperament needed and wanted is a complex task. Raising a puppy correctly is necessary if we are to maximize the puppy's potential.Providing a safe stimulating environment is vital to having a well-adjusted adult dog. The window of time in a puppy's life that determines who they will become as adult dogs is called the Socialization Period, the first 15 weeks of a puppy's life. The temperament, character and behavior habits of a puppy are developed during this socialization period and will last a lifetime. Puppies must be exposed to a wide array of smells, textures, surfaces, sounds, vibrations, tastes and sights, including and especially a comprehensive variety of people.

Day Training:

 

Day Training; the happy alternative to puppy boot camp. Our Day Training Program stimulates the five senses of your young dog. Puppies will be exposed and desensitized to sight, sounds, smells, tastes and touch of everyday life. Each day will be filled with new people to meet and new experiences to enjoy. Your puppy will get a chance to play with other puppies of the same age (depending on vaccinations), begin to gain self-control and learn how to follow basic commands in stimulating environments. By providing your puppy with plenty of correct social experiences, together we can help your puppy grow into a well-mannered family companion. A dog who is welcomed anywhere and is a true part of your life.

In this program, we train your puppy while you go about business as usual. At the end of the program we transfer the training to you. We will pick up your puppy in the morning, train and socialize your puppy for 3-4 hours each day and return your puppy to your home in the afternoon. We recommend 2 to 3 days a week for puppies 10 to 16 weeks of age.
